Community Art Projects

A beautiful piece of art installed in your facility is engaging, but having artwork that your community members and patrons help create goes much further. Collaboration in the creative process brings people together!

A mosaic is unique. It’s customizable and highly collaborative, allowing the project to reflect your institution’s values and aesthetic while also engaging the community in ways that many other art mediums simply cannot. My mosaic method brings in large numbers of community members to participate in a hands-on process that’s accessible to all ages and skill levels. It generates infectious engagement as the piece evolves.

Recent Animal House Glass community mosaic projects (below) are typical of the collaborative process, involving design teams, architects, community groups and associations. It’s a pleasure working with others to make these projects a true team effort, and to develop design concepts based on the character and values of the community.
